Almost a week has passed since fast-moving floodwaters tore through the Texas Hill Country during the early morning hours of July 4, submerging roads, sweeping away structures, and turning the usually peaceful Guadalupe River into a deadly force.

Records released Tuesday show Camp Mystic met state regulations for disaster procedures, but details of the plan remain unclear.

Over 100 people have lost their lives to this catastrophe in the last couple of days. Though vigilant rescue operations are ongoing, people continue to face death, and some have been going missing in the chaos.
