The New Orleans Police Department announced on Thursday, March 6 that Elks Krewe of Orleanians truck parade and the Krewe of Crescent City along with Krewe of Barkus will now roll on Sunday, March 9.
WDSU Anchor Travers Mackel caught up with NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick on the parade route and spoke to her about her decision to let parades roll.
Police say the suspect is described as a Black man between the ages of 20 and 30, with tattoos on his right hand and fingers.
