Retired mixed martial arts legend Khabib Nurmagomedov would like to see former rival Conor McGregor turn his life in a new direction. Nurmagomedov, 36, defeated McGregor in one of the most heated grudge matches in UFC history in 2018.

Nurmagomedov (29-0 MMA, 13-0 UFC) vs. McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) is arguably the most heated rivalry in UFC history, with their issues coming to a head at UFC 229 in October 2018 when "The Eagle" scored a fourth-round submission in their grudge match prior to a brawl breaking out inside the octagon at the conclusion of the bout.

Nurmagomedov, who settled his beef with McGregor with a fourth-round submission victory in their lightweight title fight at UFC 229, maintains that though McGregor’s reputation has taken a severe hit since he last fought in July 2021, he has a responsibility to clean up his act for his legion of fans and followers.
