The story of the 2025 NFL Draft has to do with a player who hasn't even heard his name called yet. Former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, was expected to be a first-round pick, but instead went unselected in the first three rounds of the draft.

Shedeur Sanders' dramatic draft slide continued through the second and third rounds as no NFL team picked the QB on Day 2.

The final B/R NFL Scouting Department big board had Sanders at No. 23 overall (No. 2 QB). The last B/R NFL Scouting Department mock draft listed him at No. 20. But all 32 teams have made 102 picks combined, and Sanders is still available.
