Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang on Tuesday said that MediaTek will be able to sell the desktop central processor chip that the two companies unveiled earlier this week. On Monday at CES 2025, Nvidia unveiled a desktop computer called Project DIGITS.

Nvidia, a company that rose to prominence for producing graphics cards used for gaming and then for fuelling the AI storm in 2024, has announced its first desktop computer. The personal AI supercomputer, Project DIGITS, is designed for AI researchers, data scientists, and students who intend to run large AI models on their systems.

Nvidia unveiled its Project DIGITS desktop computer at CES 2025. It targeted AI developers with a Linux-based system running on the company's latest "Blackwell" AI chip and a new CPU co-designed with MediaTek.

MediaTek and Nvidia confirmed rumors that they are partnering on a new generation of Arm chips for PCS. Granted, it’s still early days, so the initial product won’t impact too many people. But big changes are on the way.
