The New York City office building that was the site of a mass shooting Monday had significant security measures in place.

The victims of the Manhattan office building shooting are identified as NYPD Officer Didarul Islam, Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner, Cornell grad Julia Hyman and security officer Aland Etienne.

The attack on a seemingly secure building has rattled workers and prompted managers to examine whether they are adequately protected.
