Multiple major airlines are avoiding flying over Pakistan as relations with neighbor India crater in the wake of a recent tourist massacre, the latest geopolitical flashpoint to disrupt global travel.

FlightRadar data shows Pakistani airspace virtually deserted on Wednesday as airlines avoid flying over the country.

India has closed 25 flight routes to Pakistan as tensions escalate. Foreign airlines are advised to use alternative routes to avoid Pakistan airspace.
