Costco has announced the rollout of new benefits for executive members, set to go into effect at the end of the month. The retail warehouse giant told members on June 11 in an email, and confirmed to USA TODAY, that its locations will open at 9 a.m. exclusively for its upper-level members starting June 30.

Shoppers with executive memberships will be able to earn earlier access to Costco locations, with stores opening at 9 a.m. each day exclusively for executive members. Currently, Costco locations open to all shoppers at 10 a.m.

Shoppers in the higher-priced membership tier will be able to access the warehouse an hour earlier than Gold Star members from June 30, Costco said.

Costco and RH have enhanced benefits for their most valuable membership customers, who account for 73% and 98% of company revenues respectively.
