The Tennessee Volunteers took on the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday night and defeated the Tigers by a core on 85-81. Tennessee played a great second half of basketball as they would regain the lead for the first time since the score was 5-3 early in the first.

Despite having the higher national ranking, Tennessee ranks behind Missouri in conference at No. 7 with a 4-5 SEC record. Missouri is No. 15 nationally but No. 3 in the SEC thanks to a 6-2 in-conference record.
