After 15 years of aborted attempts to make a movie about America's first prolific serial killer, it appears Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are finally moving forward with an adaptation of Erik Larson's book The Devil in the White City.

DiCaprio will star in 'The Devil In The White City' as serial killer H.H. Holmes, who operated in Chicago during the 1893 World's Fair.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese‘s Devil in the White City adaptation is now a movie that will be released in theaters through 20th Century Studios. The project has been in development since 2019 and was previously in the works as a TV show at Hulu until the streaming service’s exit in 2023.
