Jayson Tatum will be back in the Boston Celtics lineup Friday night when the team takes on the Orlando Magic in Game 3 of their first round playoff series.

Having to plug lineup holes is nothing new for the Celtics. Their preferred starting five of Tatum, Brown, Holiday, Derrick White and Kristaps Porzingis played just 24 games together during the regular season, including just six after the NBA All-Star break.

The first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs continues with Game 3 in the Eastern Conference between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Celtics are currently in a strong position, leading the best-of-seven series 2-0. However their star player, Jayson Tatum, is uncertain for Game 3 due to injury.
