Legal experts say the supervisor of the Massachusetts State Police trooper who was fired as lead investigator on the Karen Read case was "ill-prepared" and evasive in his testimony at the end of the trial's third week.

Karen Read's second trial for the death of Boston police officer John O'Keefe continues. An investigator on her case took the stand, and jurors also heard several voicemail messages that Read apparently left O'Keefe on the night in question.
