LIV Golf’s new CEO Scott O’Neil insists it will be a “full and participating member” of the professional game’s new landscape when a planned merger with the PGA Tour and DP World Tour is finally completed.

LIV Golf announced Scott O'Neil as its new Chief Executive Officer on Wednesday, replacing Greg Norman, who will remain involved with LIV Golf.

Scott O’Neil was formally introduced Wednesday as the new CEO of Saudi-funded LIV Golf, which enters its fourth season next month while its financial backer is negotiating an investment deal with the rival PGA Tour.

Scott O'Neil will replace Norman, and the new CEO told SI that he’s texted with PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and looks forward to future discussions with the Tour.
