Giancarlo Stanton and Ben Rice homered in the first two innings and the New York Yankees beat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-4 in a game interrupted by rain for nearly three hours.

Per ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Yankees landed San Francisco Giants reliever Camilo Doval. New York also traded for shortstop Jose Caballero of the Tampa Bay Rays, according to Passan. Jack Curry of YES Network reported the return for Doval:

Caballero did not start Thursday’s game but entered in the fifth inning at second base after an injury to Jonathan Aranda. Removed from the game in the bottom of the seventh, Caballero was informed by Rays manager Kevin Cash of the trade.
