Justin Baldoni claims that The Times defamed him and his team in a story about the actress Blake Lively’s allegations that she had been the victim of a smear campaign.

The director of the film “It Ends With Us” has sued The New York Times for libel over its story saying he sexually harassed and tried to smear the reputation of the film's star Blake Lively.

"The Times story relied almost entirely on Lively's unverified and self-serving narrative," claims the lawsuit
