Control over the U.S. House of Representatives hangs in the balance, teetering between a Republican or Democratic majority with dozens of races left to be called. The Republicans won control of the U.

Republicans regained control of the Senate on Election Day and are looking toward expanding their majority through Wednesday with five races still to be determined. The flip in the upper chamber came just hours before former President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the race for the presidency.

While Trump is projected to win the presidency and Republicans the Senate, control of the House is still unclear, and some swing states have not yet been called.
