Mike Vrabel is reportedly set to hire Josh McDaniels as a the Patriots offensive coordinator, making one of his biggest decisions as head coach in New England.
Bourne had a career-year with McDaniels calling the offensive plays in 2021. He recorded 70 receptions for 800 yards and five touchdowns that season with Mac Jones at quarterback. The Patriots made the playoffs that season, and Jones earned a Pro Bowl nod as a rookie.
Once again, Josh McDaniels will fill the New England Patriots offensive coordinator position. As expected, the team is hiring McDaniels after speaking with him Tuesday, according to CBS Sports lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones. The Patriots made the move official on Wednesday.
