JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The capital city and Mississippi’s current capitol building have played big roles throughout Mississippi’s history, but so have many others over the last 226 years.

The Old Capitol Museum of Mississippi History, on State Street at Capitol, is a National Historic Landmark administered by the Department of Archives and History.

The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Two Mississippi Museums, the Old Capitol Museum, the State Capitol, and the Governor’s Mansion.
