Konosuke Takeshita retained his AEW International and NEVER Openweight Championships at Wrestle Dynasty, announcing afterward he's signed a deal with NJPW.

David Finlay picked up a victory over Brody King at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty in a special singles contest. Finlay managed to survive the onslaught of King, before putting him away with a monster powerbomb followed by Overkill.

The Young Bucks won the gold at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) were set to challenge Great-O-Khan and HENARE for the IWGP Tag Team Championship at the show.
