The Celtics were again down a pair of rotation players Wednesday against the Bulls, opening the chance for a bench player to step up. As has been the case recently, Jaden Springer got the nod to help the C’s.

The Boston Celtics could surprisingly make a trade before the Feb. 6 deadline. Not a blockbuster deal, of course, but a move that would give them a little more athleticism and depth at the wing position.
