If you're one of the many Costco members who always head to Costco whenever you need to top up your tank, it's time to get excited.

Costco has 143 warehouses in California, from San Diego all the way up to Eureka. The Costco food court has always been a popular spot for shoppers to grab a quick bite, and the affordable prices are also appealing to members.

Costco is planning to open a stand-alone gas station. The station will be located in Mission Viejo, Calif. in an area formerly occupied by Bed, Bath & Beyond. The station is expected to open next spring. The gas will only be available to Costco members.
