Police say a 7-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy were injured in Thursday's shooting on the 7000 block of Arcola Avenue.

At around 6:20 a.m. Thursday in the 7100 block of Arcola Avenue, the passengers of two black pickup trucks exited and shot at the house near Van Dyke, police said. There were two individuals in each vehicle, but police said they are searching for two shooters who shot at the house.

Detroit Police are on the scene of a home on Mark Twain Street in Detroit’s west side after a drive-by shooting that left a teen hospitalized Saturday afternoon.
