Colorado State's Mya Lesnar placed her name in the history books by winning the Division I shot put national title at the 2025 NCAA Championships. Lesnar, the daughter of WWE and UFC star Brock Lesnar, won the first outdoor national championship for the Rams since 2005 when Loree Smith won the hammer throw.

Mya Lesnar, the daughter of World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler and ex-mixed martial artist Brock Lesnar, smacked down her opponents with a massive opening effort to win the women's shot put at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships.

Mya Lesnar won the NCAA championship in women's shot put after the Colorado State star outdistanced the field at Hayward Field in Oregon.
