NJ Transit riders can get refunds for certain expired tickets through Tuesday
The agency’s one-way and 10-trip tickets for bus, rail and light rail used to have no expiration dates. Then, in April, NJ Transit announced that as of July 1 those tickets would no longer be valid after 30 days, for both already-purchased and new tickets.
Time running out for NJ Transit riders to submit refund requests for unused tickets
Tuesday marks the last day customers can request a refund on any unused one-way bus, rail, and light rail tickets purchased prior to June 1, 2024. The refund policy also applies to rail 10-Trip tickets, which is equivalent to 10 one-way rail tickets purchased in a single transaction. The offer started back on August 1, 2024.
