Roman Anthony thought most of his Monday would be spent on a long bus ride to Allentown, Pennsylvania. Instead, it included life-changing news and a mad dash to Fenway ahead of his much-anticipated MLB debut.

The outfielder, who turned 21 last month, is the youngest player to reach the big leagues for the Red Sox since Rafael Devers was called up as a 20-year-old in 2017.

Roman Anthony has finally been called up to the Major Leagues by the Boston Red Sox. The top prospect in all of baseball was promoted from Triple-A Worcester on Monday.
