Google is once again in the crosshairs of Republicans in Congress because of alleged censorship, Bloomberg writes. The House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed Google's parent company Alphabet and CEO Sundar Pichai for evidence of communication between the tech company and the Biden administration.

The Republican-majority U.S. House Judiciary Committee on Thursday issued a subpoena to tech giant Alphabet Inc, seeking the Google parent company's internal communications as well as those with third parties and government officials during Democratic President Joe Biden's administration.

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Thursday subpoenaed Alphabet, the parent company of Google and YouTube, demanding the tech giant turn over its communications with the executive branch.
