Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant is once again the talk of the league. The 36-year-old future Hall of Famer is entering a contract year, and the Suns' February 2023 acquisition of Durant hasn't worked out the way either side hoped it would.

One potential rumored option has been pursuing Kevin Durant in a blockbuster trade with the Phoenix Suns. While Minnesota has been linked often to Durant since its season comes to an end, a trade does not seem likely. A new report has come out that likely puts any hope of Durant teaming up with Anthony Edwards to rest.

On Monday, ESPN confirmed that possibility, reporting that the Suns have focused on negotiations with three teams: the Rockets, Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves are obviously not one of the three teams on that list. According to Shams Charania, "Durant has no desire to be in Minnesota with the Timberwolves."
