The Washington Commanders enter free agency with 24 players hitting the market. That does not include the release of defensive tackle Jonathan Allen nor re-signings such as Bobby Wagner and Zach Ertz.

To begin to retool, Commanders General Manager Adam Peters has turned to the veteran free-agent market and trade opportunities. Before free agency, he agreed to trade for wide receiver Deebo Samuel and signed a few of Washington’s key veterans from last season. His moves since have been significant, and won’t soon end.
