A majority of Texans support deporting most of the undocumented immigrants living in the United States, according to a poll that found sharp differences between the state’s Republicans and Democrats.

The president’s made-for-TV showmanship has been all over his first days in office, as he has sought to kick off the country’s largest mass deportation effort.
