The Kansas City Chiefs are set to begin mandatory minicamp this coming week, and the expectation is that the entire roster will be in attendance — including stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Following the team’s Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles back in February,

Travis Kelce is poised to join the Kansas City Chiefs for the first time this offseason when mandatory minicamp begins Tuesday of next week. And when he steps onto the practice field, Kelce will look very different from how he looked in 2024.

The upcoming season marks the final year of Kelce's contract, which lends itself to speculation that it could be the tight end's last ride both with the Chiefs and in the NFL. Kelce is set to earn $17.25 million in his final contract year with the majority of that paycheck coming by way of a $12.5 million roster bonus.
