New Orleans Saints sign six 2025 draft picks to four-year contracts
Banks, 6-5, 315, was the Saints' first pick (ninth overall) in the 2025 NFL Draft out of the University of Texas. The Humble, Texas native arrives after three seasons with the Longhorns, where he started all 42 games at left tackle for a squad that made two College Football Playoff appearances and went 25-5 over the last two campaigns.

NFL.com's draft analyst Chad Reuter wrote the final snap grades for all 32 team's draft classes. Reuter credited the Saints for filling their needs for a tackle and quarterback in the first two rounds and approved of the team's Day 3 selections, giving them a B- for rounds 4-7.
