The Chicago Sky forward steps further into the fashion world with a cover story for Vogue, speaking to the magazine about her childhood living room runway walks and aspirations for the future.

Angel Reese and Gabby Thomas may be best recognized for attaining champion status in their respective sports, basketball and track, but the two are venturing further into fashion territory as they share the coveted Vogue cover star spot for the fashion bible's Winter issue.

Angel Reese celebrated her role as Vogue magazine’s latest cover model by shutting down trolls who recently criticized her outfit choices. On Wednesday (January 6) the Chicago Sky player promoted the cover on X, writing: “COVERGIRL.” In a follow-up tweet, the WNBA star added: “I ‘covered up’ and gave y’all COVERGIRL [kiss emoji].”

Angel Reese proudly took a Vogue victory lap in front of her critics Wednesday. On the same morning Vogue revealed the Chicago Sky forward as one of its cover stars for the Winter 2025 issue, Reese celebrated the news on her social media pages with a jab at trolls.
