The news comes about a month after the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic was mistakenly added to a separate Signal chat with national security leaders.

The Signal group chat scandal last month, when Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared sensitive military information of U.S. strikes in Yemen with other Cabinet-level officials, caused an uproar as the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic was also included in the communications on the commercial messaging app.
