WLAN/WiMAX ghost icon on desktop won't go away!!!
Sep 9, 2013 · I have a ghost icon of WLAN and WiMAX in the left corner of the desktop, it is unresponsive and stays above all other windows/programs. It is a very recent issue. I am guessing this happened due to windows updates, since others online (the few others I could find) said they thought that it was due to their updates.
