Mayer and his bodyguard walked into a throng of paparazzi, all eager to snap pictures. Just as Mayer was ducking into his BMW, one photog was over-eager and Mayer’s bodyguard pushed him to the ground, grabbing him by the throat according to onlookers.

John Mayer has an off-again-on-again relationship with Jennifer Aniston and also with the paparazzi! I mean, he woke up early a few months back to go and speak out against paps at a public hearing in downtown LA, then he courts them along with his famous girlfriends, then he hires a bodyguard who beats down the snappers!
