Jan 10, 2022 · FWIW, the USB-C ports on the MacBook Air support (with adapters): Thunderbolt 1/2. USB2, USB 3.1 gen 1, USB 3.1 gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.2 gen 2. With out adapters it supports all the above USB if the device uses a USB-C cable plus USB 4 and Thunderbolt 3. So none of your devices are obsolete!
