The only way I have been able to stop this is by disabling nvidia share on startup. The issue has only been going on since the GFE 3 update. I like having shadowplay/share turn on with my PC but not if it causes boot issues.

No extra processes running, I'm smart enough to go to their site to manually check for new drivers, I don't need it to auto adjust my games because I'm smart enough to manually tweak my games and I don't use it for streaming.

I disabled my recording since I don't actively use it, but I still have 2 instances of nvidia share.exe running in my processes menu. Any ideas if/how this can or should be disabled, or is this an essential service of some sort now?
